Today’s theme is the third part of the “The Human Body Was a Temple” series: **”The Solar Plexus.”**
Your body’s “inner sun” was the engine of reality creation. This is the third installment in “The Human Body Was a Temple” series. We’ll unravel the role of the Solar Plexus from a ZPF perspective and explain how to connect your brain, heart, and gut to live authentically. Why do we “gird our loins”? We’ll explore the role of the “second brain” in your gut, and learn how to connect with your “inner sun” and use the power of your will to create reality.
The Solar Plexus: The “Second Brain”
The Solar Plexus, located around the navel and diaphragm, is a crucial cluster of nerves that regulates the autonomic nervous system and digestive functions. This area is also called the **”second brain,”** and in English, it is referred to as the **”solar plexus,”** which literally means “sun network.”
Why “sun”?
Because the Solar Plexus is also known as the **”inner sun,”** and was considered in ancient times to be the point where the cosmic sun and the inner sun connect.
What’s interesting is that this location is situated between the “brain” and the “heart.”
- **Brain:** The place where we think.
- **Heart:** The place where we feel.
- **Solar Plexus:** The place where we **decide.**
As seen in phrases like the Japanese “hara wo kukuru” (“to gird one’s loins”) or the English “He’s got guts,” the “gut” has been a global symbol for **”will” and “intuition.”** This place is the **”center of will.”**
The Chakras and the Colors of the Rainbow
The Solar Plexus is also known as the “Third Chakra,” and its keywords are “will,” “confidence,” “self-awareness,” and “the power of action.” When this area is in alignment, it gives us the strength to choose our own path without being swayed by external opinions.
Each chakra has a corresponding color, and the Solar Plexus’s is **”yellow.”** The chakras, from the First Chakra’s “red” to the Seventh Chakra’s “violet,” follow the same order as **the colors of the rainbow.** Perhaps the human body is a **”temple of the body”** that reflects the “spectrum of cosmic light.”
The “Inner Sun” and Its Connection to the ZPF
The **”vagus”** nerve, which extends from the Solar Plexus, comes from the Latin word for **”wanderer.”** This nerve is sometimes called the **”nerve of light,”** which suggests a mystical connection.
A passage in the Bible says, “from the belly of him who believes shall flow rivers of living water,” which is said to refer to the life energy that ascends from the Solar Plexus. This energy travels up the spine to the Pineal Gland, a **”journey of light.”**
That tingling or excited feeling you get when you’re about to take on a challenge might be the Solar Plexus telling you, **”Establish your will here.”**
To nurture this area, you must first **”place your consciousness here.”** And you can quietly ask yourself questions like, “What do I want to use this power for?” and “Where do I stand?”
Summary: The Solar Plexus is the “Altar of Will”
If the brain is the “temple of structure” and the heart is the “temple of resonance,” then the **Solar Plexus is the “altar of will.”**
- The brain thinks,
- the heart feels, and
- the Solar Plexus **decides.**
When these three are connected as a single axis, we can reclaim the feeling of living our lives with our own free will.
