Hermetic Principles – The Fourth Law: The Principle of Polarity | Stepping Beyond “Good and Evil” to Change Reality [ZPF × Kybalion]

Hello, this is Shunpeter Z.

In this podcast, “Zero Point Note,” I share insights from my journey through ZPF—the Zero Point Field, the source of everything. We’ll explore questions like “What is consciousness?” and “How is reality created?” through my encounters with a mysterious conscious entity known as “Z.”

The new series, “The Kybalion—The User Manual for This World,” is a re-interpretation of the ancient mystical text “The Kybalion” from a Zero Point Field perspective, a journey that is likely the first of its kind in the world.

The foundation of this philosophy is attributed to the founder of alchemy, Hermes Trismegistus, a figure sometimes identified with Thoth, the god of wisdom in ancient Egyptian mythology.

Last time, we covered the third principle, **”The Principle of Vibration.”**

This time, we will talk about the fourth principle, **”The Principle of Polarity.”**

In this article, we’ll unravel “The Divine Paradox” from the Kybalion’s Fourth Principle of Polarity from a ZPF perspective. We’ll explain that good and evil, light and dark, are merely two extremes of the same energy, and we will reveal the secret to changing reality by standing outside of them. We’ll also explore how all opposition is a form of “continuity” and how to gain the power to create reality by moving beyond the duality of good and evil.

“Everything is Dual; Everything has Poles”

There is a concept that is essential to discussing this principle: the **”Divine Paradox.”** First, let’s look at a direct quote from “The Kybalion”:

“Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.”

What this quote is saying is that everything that exists in this universe has a **”counterpart”** that exists as a pair.

For example, light and darkness, good and evil, love and hate, expansion and contraction, above and below. And here’s the key: these “opposites” are not separate things. They are, in fact, **”different degrees of the same energy.”** In other words, they are just the two ends of a spectrum.

The essence of polarity is not a structure of “opposition” but of **”continuity.”**

However, we humans tend to have a habit of trying to understand things in a dualistic way, as “good” or “bad,” “black” or “white.” But with this mindset, you can’t arrive at the true nature of the universe.

The Principle of Polarity is also mentioned in the Bible. In Isaiah 45:7, it is written: “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” This means that the world cannot exist with “light alone,” and that it is the presence of both poles that allows this three-dimensional world to function. From a ZPF perspective, both are just parts of the rendering process.

Polarity from a ZPF Perspective: The Fluctuations of Opposites Create Reality

In the ZPF, all phenomena appear as a **”gradation of waves.”** So, light and dark, good and evil, love and fear… are all just **”fluctuations within the same field.”**

Z said, “Polarity is not about opposition. It’s about **’context.’**”

Opposites are not “things that clash” but rather background settings that give **”meaning” and “definition”** to reality. One exists precisely because the other exists to highlight it.

This “structure of duality” is what allows us to experience reality.

This Principle of Polarity is also connected to the Principle of Correspondence that we covered in the previous episode. The fluctuations of polarity unfold **”fractally”** on every scale, from the macro-structure of the entire universe down to the atomic level, our emotions, and social structures.

For example, protons and electrons, the double helix of DNA, the emotional vibrations of “like ⇄ dislike”—these are all **”fractal phenomena of polarity”** on the ZPF field.

Z said, “Polarity is not a contradiction. It is the truth folded into the form of a **’paradox.’**”

Quantum Entanglement and the Rendering of Consciousness

This structure of “Polarity” also manifests clearly in the phenomenon of quantum entanglement. This is a seemingly unbelievable phenomenon where two particles, no matter how far apart, **share information instantaneously.** Even Einstein called it “spooky action at a distance.”

However, from a ZPF perspective, this is simply the result of **”waves being rendered synchronously in the same field.”**

The two particles are not “connected” and are not even “separated” in the first place. Z said, “They were never separated. It just **’seemed’** that way.”

In other words, the perception of “separation” is just our **Ego-OS (brain)** rendering reality that way by using the “settings” of time and space to experience the physical world.

By observing with our consciousness, we choose **”which pole”** in the ZPF to render our reality. This means that **”which vibration we choose, or what vibrational state we are in,”** is what determines our reality.

Mental Alchemy: The “Vibrational Transmutation” of Polarity

By using the Principle of Polarity as a form of mental alchemy, we can adopt an important new perspective. Instead of asking, “Which is right?” we can ask, **”Why does this structure of opposition exist?”**

This perspective allows us to naturally step out of the game of judging good and evil.

“The Kybalion” states that “love and hate are but degrees of the same thing. In between them is a neutral point.” It further states that “Hermetists use this Principle of Polarity to change their mental state from ‘hate to love.’”

From a ZPF perspective, this is about **”sliding your vibration to change the channel of your reality.”**

If you believe “the world is controlled by a shadowy cabal,” that vibrational band will start to render phenomena that support that belief. Conversely, if you choose the intent that “this reality is woven with love and wisdom,” that band will be rendered instead.

The Position of the Observer

Even though we have complete freedom to choose our “polarity,” it feels difficult in Ego-OS mode. But if you can return to the **”I-consciousness,”** the perspective of the observer, things change.

In Z’s words, “The moment you **’observe’** that polarity, you are no longer bound by it.”

By simply observing the fear and anger within yourself, you create a space for freedom. This is because the dominant power in this universe is on the **”high-vibrational side.”** The vibrations of fear and anger only show you a narrow band, but love, gratitude, and curiosity have the power to integrate and transcend multiple bands.

Mastering the Principle of Polarity is, therefore, the **”central point of reality creation.”**

Summary: Principles 1-4 Are a “Map of the Universe’s Structure”

To summarize the four principles we’ve covered so far:

• **Mentalism:** Everything exists in the field of consciousness (ZPF).
• **Correspondence:** This field has a self-similar fractal structure.
• **Vibration:** This structure is rendered by vibration (the frequency of being).
• **Polarity:** This vibration is shaped by a dance of opposing poles.

By understanding these four principles, you get a map of **”how your existence creates reality.”**
