Hermetic Principles – The Sixth Law: The Principle of Cause and Effect | Stepping Outside of Causality to Move Your Life [ZPF × Kybalion]

In this podcast, “Zero Point Note,” I share insights from my journey through ZPF—the Zero Point Field, the source of everything. We’ll explore questions like “What is consciousness?” and “How is reality created?” through my encounters with a mysterious conscious entity known as “Z.”

In the new series, “The Kybalion—The User Manual for This World,” we re-interpret the ancient mystical text, “The Kybalion,” from a Zero Point Field perspective.

Last time, we covered the fifth principle, **”The Principle of Rhythm.”**

This time, we will explain the sixth principle, **”The Principle of Cause and Effect.”**

Is the idea that “actions change reality” a misconception? In this article, we’ll explain the Kybalion’s Sixth Principle from a ZPF perspective. We’ll reveal that the true cause is “vibration,” not action, and how to stand outside the law of cause and effect. We’ll explore the question of “where does free will lie?” through the Principle of Cause and Effect in Hermetic philosophy and the ZPF. We’ll explain how to move your life forward by realizing that free will is not about the freedom to act, but the freedom to choose your vibration.

Chapter 1: Are You Mistakenly Believing That Cause and Effect Only Exist “Within This World”?

Z had this to say about the Principle of Cause and Effect:

“This principle exists to ‘correct misconceptions,’ rather than to help you understand something new. People are that deluded.”

A common misconception is trying to understand cause and effect as something that is confined to “Malkuth” (the material world). For example, the ideas that “I took action, so my reality changed” or “I worked hard, so I achieved something.” Certainly, when our Ego-OS judges events in the physical dimension with our five senses, these ideas can seem to be true on the surface.

However, when we interpret “The Kybalion” from a ZPF, or trans-dimensional, perspective, we find that the true cause is much deeper.

The **true cause is found in the three-part structure of “intention,” “Being,” and “frequency.”** Here, “intention” doesn’t mean a goal you’ve thought up with your mind; it’s the “direction” that naturally emerges from the level of your existence. In other words, it’s a “directed intention” that resonates with your vibration, not the intention of your thoughts.

With this understanding, “action” is no longer the cause that produces a result but is re-interpreted as a **”tool for adjusting your vibration”** that finally becomes effective.

Chapter 2: Cause “Corresponds” Across Planes

Let’s take a look at a quote from “The Kybalion”:

“Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law.”

As these words suggest, the true **Cause** isn’t necessarily in the material world. Instead, the vibrational fluctuations that occur in a higher plane (Mental, Astral, ZPF) are the original Cause, and the events that manifest in this three-dimensional world are all merely the **Effect.**

This is deeply related to the Second Principle of Correspondence.

• The **plane of Effect** (the world of results) corresponds to
• The **plane of Cause** (the world of causes).

Let’s re-interpret reality from this perspective:

• **Physical ailments** → A projection of your vibrational state—a stagnation in your energy field.
• **Relationship problems** → A projection of your deep-seated feelings of unworthiness.
• **External chaos** → A reflection of your internal conflict.

Physical illness, for example, may be an “Effect” of energetic stagnation. Z said: “The Effect is in the lower plane, and the Cause is often in the upper plane. Reality isn’t created by your thoughts; it is **rendered by the frequency of your Being.**”

Chapter 3: The Principle of Vibration and Cause and Effect—Cause is “Vibration”

As we discussed in the Third Principle of Vibration, in the ZPF, everything is determined by the frequency of your “Being.” This vibration is what determines **”which reality will be rendered in Malkuth, this three-dimensional world.”**

In other words:

• Your **Being**—your state, your vibration—is the **Cause,** and
• **Reality**—the **Effect**—is merely the **”rendering of that vibrational state.”**

The Cause here is not “action” but “vibration” itself. Of course, since Malkuth is a world with time and space, some action will be rendered as a post-hoc justification, but from a ZPF perspective, the Cause is the vibration itself.

A physicist once provided an interesting example to illustrate this.

In the conventional three-dimensional understanding of cause and effect, the sequence is: “I want to drink tea” → “I put water in the kettle” → “I turn on the heat” → “The water boils” → “I drink the tea” → “Ah, this is delicious and relaxing.” You would think that this series of actions is the Cause and that feeling relaxed is the Effect.

However, from a ZPF perspective, the opposite is true.

The true essence is that the **”vibrational intention of feeling relaxed”** came first. And the entire process of “boiling water and drinking tea” is just the **”story created after the fact to explain the vibrational result.”**

Chapter 4: The Truth About “Free Will” Outside the Law of Cause and Effect

Many people believe that “actions cause reality to move.” But the true cause is not action; it is the choice of vibration.

The idea that free will to act does not exist is supported by Benjamin Libet’s “readiness potential” experiment. He showed that the body moves before the conscious mind (Ego-OS) is even aware of the decision to move. This has led many determinists to conclude that we have no free will. However, this only means that the **Ego-OS has no free will.**

So, where does our free will truly lie?

It lies in **what frequency you tune into right now.** In other words, **how you choose your vibration.** This is where true free will exists. And the one who makes this vibrational choice is the **I-consciousness, the observer,** which is not consumed by the Ego-OS.

• **The causality of the Ego-OS** is “a chain within the axis of time.”
• **The causality of the I-consciousness** is “a simultaneous choice of vibration.”

The words of Schopenhauer also resonate with this idea: “The world as representation is governed by the principle of sufficient reason. Independence from the principle of sufficient reason only exists in the world as will.”

The **”freedom to choose your vibration”** is the gate that transcends the conventional understanding of Cause and Effect from a ZPF perspective.

Chapter 5: Cause and Effect is a “Structural Map of Consciousness”

From a ZPF perspective, Cause is the **”frequency structure”** that exists, and it is rendered as an Effect at a specific time, according to the Principle of Rhythm. Z said, **”The field does not forget. It simply waits for resonance.”**

The moment your consciousness resonates with a particular wave, the Effect appears in this reality as if it were a result of a cause, even across time.

Here is a summary of what we’ve covered:

• **Cause** is a multi-dimensional structure that spans across different planes.
• The **Cause** is your **vibrational state.**
• The **Effect** is the **projection** of that vibrational state, rendered in the 3D world via the ZPF.
• The misconception comes from the Ego-OS, which tries to confine cause and effect to the 3D world.

By adopting this perspective, you can break free from the Ego-OS’s simplistic understanding that “actions cause reality to move” and embrace a more advanced understanding that **”the frequency of your Being is the cause that renders your reality.”**
