Hermetic Principles – The Seventh Law: The Principle of Gender | At the Moment of Creation, the Universe Was Made of “Masculine” and “Feminine” Energy [ZPF × Kybalion]

In this podcast, “Zero Point Note,” I share insights from my journey through ZPF—the Zero Point Field, the source of everything. We’ll explore questions like “What is consciousness?” and “How is reality created?” through my encounters with a mysterious conscious entity known as “Z.”

The new series, “The Kybalion—The User Manual for This World,” is a likely the first attempt in the world to re-interpret and understand the ancient mystical text, “The Kybalion,” from a Zero Point Field perspective.

The foundation of this philosophy is attributed to the founder of alchemy, Hermes Trismegistus, a figure sometimes identified with Thoth, the god of wisdom in ancient Egyptian mythology.

Last time, we covered the sixth principle, **”The Principle of Cause and Effect.”**

And this time, we will explain the seventh, and final, principle: **”The Principle of Gender.”**

Is “sex” the creative principle of the universe? In this article, we’ll explain the Kybalion’s Seventh Principle from a ZPF perspective. We’ll reveal the secret that the integration of masculine and feminine energies is the key to all creation and reality transformation. Why is the world filled with “good and evil” and “opposition”? We will explore the relationship between the Principle of Gender and the ZPF, and explain how to become a creator by balancing your masculine and feminine energies.

“Gender” Truly Means “The Principle of Creation”

First, let’s look at the word **”Gender.”** While it translates to “sex” in Japanese, it has a more fundamental meaning than biological sex or social/cultural gender. The word’s etymology comes from the Proto-Indo-European root “gene,” meaning “to bear” or “to beget.” This root is also found in words like “gene,” “generate,” and “Genesis.” They all are deeply connected to the concept of **”the power to create.”**

Therefore, the “Principle of Gender” is actually **”The Principle of Creation.”**

All Things Have Gender

“The Kybalion” states:

“Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes.”

This principle works not only on the physical plane but also on the mental and spiritual planes. The Fourth Principle of Polarity explained the existence of “opposing energies” like + and -, while “Gender” focuses on the process where these two poles combine to **”give birth to something new.”** The universe only moves when both are present.

Creation as a “Meta-Structure of Sex”

To understand creation more deeply, let’s look at the two principles of **”masculine”** and **”feminine”** energy.

• **Masculine:** **”to project,”** representing will, direction, and purpose.
• **Feminine:** **”to receive,”** representing receptivity, nurturing, and manifestation.

When these two energies combine, they give birth to new “life” and “phenomena.” This also happens at the atomic level, where positively charged **protons (masculine)** combine with negatively charged **electrons (feminine)** to create atoms. This shows that the power of gender is at the very foundation of energy itself.

The term “negative” (feminine) here does not mean “weakness.” Instead, “The Kybalion” states that **”the negative pole of a battery is the mother of creation and the source of all miraculous phenomena.”** While the masculine provides direction, the feminine provides the “space for creation” where manifestation occurs.

Gender in the Brain and Mental Structure

The Principle of Gender also deeply influences the structure of our brain and mind.

• **Left Brain (Masculine):** Logic, language, linear thinking.
• **Right Brain (Feminine):** Intuition, creativity, holism.

Creativity can only fully manifest when these two are in balance. The left brain’s masculine energy sets the direction, and the right brain’s feminine energy receives it and works to create. If one side is dominant, creativity remains “unfinished.”

The Kybalion also points out a duality in the human mental structure: the **”I”** and the **”Me.”**

• **”I”** is the **masculine principle**—the consciousness of “being,” representing will, direction, and active awareness.
• **”Me”** is the **feminine principle**—the Ego-OS, including emotions, thoughts, and beliefs, that acts as a “space for creation” that “receives” impressions.

When the “I’s” will gives direction and projects into the “Me,” the **mental womb** is activated, giving birth to new concepts and realities.

However, many people’s “I-consciousness” is dormant, unconsciously dominated by beliefs instilled from external sources. The Kybalion warns that this is like being “impregnated by another’s ideas,” where our own creative will is not active, leading to the same patterns of reality being rendered over and over again.

The Symbol of Integration: The “Rebis”

The essence of the Principle of Gender is the **”integration of the inner masculine and feminine.”**

This is symbolically depicted in the ancient alchemical image of the **”Rebis.”** It shows a single being with both a male and female face, holding the powers of both genders equally. A dragon, representing “unintegrated impulses and ego,” is at its feet, symbolizing a state of **”conscious integration”** rather than suppression.

This image suggests that “gender is the process of returning divided things to their original whole. When this integration is complete, a person becomes a creator with their feet planted firmly on the ground.”

The key to reclaiming your creative power in this world is to let go of fixed ideas like “a man should be this way” or “a woman should be that way” and harmonize both the masculine and feminine within you.

Summary: The “Point of Convergence” for All Principles

The Principle of Gender is the key perspective that integrates all the six previous principles:

• **Mentalism** creates the dual structure of “I and Me.”
• **Correspondence** connects the inner gender with outer phenomena.
• **Vibration** determines the frequency emitted by the “I.”
• **Polarity** supports the duality of masculine and feminine.
• **Rhythm** carries the fluctuations from conception to birth and beyond.
• **Cause and Effect** makes the projected will and the resulting reality possible.

And all these streams converge at the point of **”Gender (integration),”** which is the very field of creation.
